Crystal Golem Concept

This art was made for my Character Concept Art class in college. The prompt was "Fantasy Characters". I originally imagined this character as Lion knight of some kind, but I found I had a lot of trouble drawing a lion's head in perspective. So I instead made him into a golem made of magical crystals and armor. The art was changed to show more of his body due to peer feedback. The oversized halberd and general proportions of the character were inspired by the bosses in the Dark Souls series.
